Barbara Bermudo is a Puerto Rican TV personality and journalist. Barbara received her claim to fame in 2002 when she landed a hosting job on the Univision’s daily Spanish news program “First Impact” (Primer Impacto), the long-running program that features mostly human-interest stories. On Primer Impacto, a show that has fans both in the Hispanic communities in the United States and on twelve other Latin-American countries, Barbara Bermudo co-hosts with Jackie Guerrido and Fernando Del Rincon.

A beauty with brains, Bermudo instantly won the viewers over. Since then, Barbara Bermudo appeared as a host of other TV shows, including “The Night of Stars” (Noche de Estrellas), and “What You Didn’t See in Lo Nuestro Awards” (Lo Que no vio de Premios lo Nuestro). She also graced the silver screen in 2003 for the Latino comedy film “Chasing Papi,” portraying a Miami TV reporter.

Barbara Bermudo has appeared on over a dozen television shows, including Access Hollywood, Entertainment Tonight, “Que Bodas” (What a Wedding), “El Show de Cristina” and “El Escandalo del Mediodia” (The Midday Scandal). Barbara Bermudo also announced the nominated artists for the 2008 Annual Latin Grammy Awards.

Aside from films and broadcasting gigs, Barbara Bermudo also became the spokeswoman of Pantene and Kraft. She has appeared on different Latin-oriented magazines, including Simpre Mujer and People En Español, where she became one of eight cover stars for the magazine’s 2007 list of “50 Most Beautiful People.” Barbara Bermudo is married to fellow Univision star Mario Andres and has a baby girl (Mia Andrea). She is widely loved in her country, being dubbed as Puerto Rico’s “Most Beautiful Face on TV.”
